Philly Cheesesteak Stuffed Peppers

sweet peppers, halved and cored

vegetable or canola oil

onion, diced

green pepper, diced

top sirloin steak, thinly sliced and marinated

mushrooms, chopped and sauteed in butter and garlic
8
slices stronger cheddar cheese (provolone)

generous dollops of cheese whiz.
Instructions
Preheat oven to broil and move the rack to top level
Place pepper halves on baking sheet and broil 5 - 7 minutes, then flip for another 5 - 7 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute onions and green peppers in oil 5-7 minutes, until soft. Remove from pan.
In the same pan, saute steak slices until they are fully cooked.
Add in the pepper mixture.
Top with provolone slices and mix in as they melt.
Fill each pepper half with mixture. Top with cheese whiz.
