Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lbs Brussels sprouts, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olived oil
  • 3 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Place Brussels sprouts in a baking dish (I use a baking sheet). Drizzle with olive oil and maple syrup, and toss to coat.
  • Sprinkle with bacon pieces; season with salt and pepper.
  • Roast in preheated oven until bacon is crispy and sprouts are caramelized, about 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
