Maple Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon

Brussels sprouts, trimmed

extra-virgin olived oil

pure maple syrup

slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

freshly ground pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F.
Place Brussels sprouts in a baking dish (I use a baking sheet). Drizzle with olive oil and maple syrup, and toss to coat.
Sprinkle with bacon pieces; season with salt and pepper.
Roast in preheated oven until bacon is crispy and sprouts are caramelized, about 45 minutes, stirring halfway through.
