Barbados Beef Stew

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs stew beef
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 15 oz canned tomatoes
  • 2 onions, sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 tsp celery salt
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup raisins
  • 1 tsp ginger

Instructions
 

  • Toss meat with flour and brown.
  • Add tomatoes, onions, salt, molasses, and vinegar. Cook 2 hours.
  • Add raisins, carrots and ginger. Cook 30 minutes. Serve with rice.
