    Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes

    Ingredients
      

    • 4 lbs large potatoes, peeled & thinly sliced
    • 1 medium onion, peeled & thinly sliced
    • 4 tbsp butter or margarine
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 1 tbsp flour
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp pepper
    • 2 cups milk
    • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream

    Instructions
     

    • Spray slow cooker with cooking spray.
    • Add potatoes and onions to slow cooker in layers.
    • In large pot combine butter, flour, salt and pepper. Over medium-low heat, stir until butter is melted.
    • Gradually whisk in milk and cream until no lumps remain, cook until bubbly and thickened, about 10 minutes.
    • Pour sauce over potato & onion layers. Cover and cook for 4 hours on high or 5 - 7 hours on low.
